A Tribute to Undercover Glamour

It's been a while since I've posted anything. I'd actually given up on writing a blog. I guess I thought you need to invest a lot of time and dedication to posting. Recently a lot of my friends have set up their own businesses within the beauty industry and have encouraged me to post again. They've assured me that I don't need to write as much just post pictures of my clothes and things, so that's what I'm going to do. I would have loved to just cheat and post my portfolio from shoots, but apparently I'm not allowed to do that as I have to keep this blog realistic and commit to everyday fashion.

I'm dedicating today's post to 'Undercover Glamour'. It's all about my hair extensions. In all the pictures below I have used 'Undercover Glamour' hair extensions. In my earlier posts I cannot speak highly of them enough:

And I've also mastered the Kim Kardashian ponytail using the hair extensions.

I love that they are tripple wefted Which means there is three times the hair on one clip in piece. Extra thickness. Which in turn means you get more for your buck. There are not many companies that do this out there, if any. What's the point in having hair extensions if the hair is going to be sparse. Hair is beauty they say...

They also do eyelashes and other fun girly products. Check out the site:

Vegas Baby!

Hi folks,

It's been a little while. So quite a lot has occurred since my last blog. I've just  been offered a fantastic new job as a Marketing Execution Campaign Manager for a massive IT company. Also I've just come back from Vegas baby!

Before I start procrastinating again. I want to review the Halo hair extensions sent to me by a company called 'Undercover Glamour'. The extensions are about 4/5 pieced attached to each other and connected by a plastic string which goes over your head like an invisible headband. Although the thickness of the actual hair is fab.  However for an advocate of clip in hair extensions, I felt these were quite restrictive for me and felt a little unsecured.  I do however think that the company Undercover Glamour has the best hair extensions I've ever purchased. Firstly the longer length 20 inch clip in hair extensions are really amazing. Not only can you cut them to the desired length.

Before I upload some of my Vegas outfits, I wanted to upload a few outfits prior to my Vegas trip.

The dress above is from Krisp, it's a great spring summer outfit, which I've paired with a blazer from H&M. The gold/beige belt is from Accessorise, as is the chunky statement necklace. The leather bag with the thick metal clasp is from Calvin Klein, which I picked up about 8 years ago from Vancouver. The wedge style lace cutoff boots are from New Look and a steal at £25.00.

This outfit is kind of a very young sailor-style outfit. The shirt is an off-white frilly neckline design from Primark at £10, the skirt is also from Primark. I love the way it goes in at the waist and out at the bottom. I've teamed it up with the nautical big bag from River Island. I do love this bag, however at £50, it does not retain it's shape which is a real shame as I find most of the handbags from River Island look designer on the cheap; but a lot of them lose the shape quickly. The bow shoes are from New Look, I picked them up in the sale for £10 bargain!

This picture was taken at the beautiful Thai Terrace in Guildford. Fantastic Thai restaurant. Most definitely one of the best in the posh Guildford area. The coat is from Karen Millen, last season. I love it. It's looks real professional done up. The lightly coloured aqua dress is from River Island at £40. Not that you can see but it's off the shoulders. Beautiful colour too. I felt it's a little too short for me. As I have quite long legs, when sitting down it rises too high for comfort and as it's in the tulip style it's not fitted either, which was a little uncomfortable. You could wear it to a bar or club however. It's a little too covered up for me and made me look much skinnier which is not the effect I was after. The shoes are from New Look at £20, the clutch has been featured in my blog before is from ASOS at £18 and yes I am in love with it at the moment and try and pair it with most of my outfits if I can.

This outfit was a little too daring for work but hey ho YOLO! The dress was from a store called Madam Butterfly. They are no longer trading, but I think you can pick a few pieces up online. The cut out toe shoe boots are from New Look and you can also get them in black, which I want! The big over sized bag with the glitter bottom section is from Steve Madden, I picked this up in New York in November. You can also order this online and it's also available in black. The tan leather Jacket is from Karen Millen, approximately £500.

So onto Vegas! I wore the bikini from River Island featured in the previous blog. Loved it. So many girls asked me where it's from. I found it most flattering too.

I wore the bikini with a thigh cut out maxi skirt from Zara. I loved this skirt. It's almost sheer and has a mini skirt swen underneath which is visible. It's great for wearing in the summer with a short top or on holiday.

The above outfit taken on the Vegas strip is a one shoulder dress from Krisp. The skirt part of the dress is amazing. I love the short mini style at the front then the long maxi length at the back. I had so many compliments from people walking down the strip and it's only £30. I've teamed it my famous ASOS bag and a cheap turquoise necklace from Primark. The sunglasses are the most expensive part of the outfit at $900 US dollars, their Bvlgari. I was literally scared to take them with me in case I misplaced them.

And here's the same outfit from the front. In terms of day outfits that was probably the only one I had on the rest of the time, it was all bikini's and clubbing attire. So apologies for the lack of actual Vegas outfits. However I do promise you a lot more summer outfits. Although I will be working for a large corporate and the outfits may not be so out there, I promise not to let you down.

So it's my birthday next month and I'm also off to Dubai after. So much to look forward to! I hope to update my next blog entry much sooner.

But for now, have a fantastic rest of the week and an even better weekend! x

A Blast From The Past

Happy mid week guys! The weather is still poor but as always doesn't mean your garments have to be.

I'm going to do a little something different today. I thought I'd jazz it up a bit and give you a bit of a variety. So, I'm uploading outfits I've worn from over the past couple of months before I started this blog.
I call this my Dubai outfit. I feel I look like I belong in Dubai with the animal print scarf my best friend gave me from India. And my hair up like that. The dress is from ASOS, I've worn a puff ball skirt underneath it to puff the dress right out. I love these tights they're so cool! And a steal at £2.50 from Primark. I actually get stopped all the time and complimented on them. The shoe/boots are from New Look like  couple of years old. I love the peep toe bit and the tassel. I took these shoes with me to New York to wear out on the town and they are mega comfortable, they have like this cushion inside. You could probably still get them online. They come in a lovely black pair too. The necklase is from Accessorize and the bag is River Island. It goes perfectly with the scarf my bestie got me.
The next outfit I've featured in concessions in this blog. The wet look leggings are from Bebe (New York) as you know. You can get them everywhere, I've seen some really cool ones in H&M with a zipper at the the bottom of  each leg. The top is from Primark I love the detail on the sleeve. they have a beautiful white/beige bow on the end of each sleeve. The beige satin jacket is from H&M I think it was just under £30 and I love it. It smartens any outfit up. I wear it all the time too. The satchel style bag is from River Isand. The colours just happened to go soooo well with my outfit, don't you just love it when that happens by chance! The shoes have been featured loads, £20 from New Look. The pearl earring and pear studs both from Primark, together they were under £5, I know right! ;)
I love this outfit. The dress is the same as the first picture above in a different colour. I actually love this mustard colour. So the petticoat is from a diamond find of a boutique shop I discovered by Spitafields Market called 'Dolly Dare'. Although a little pricey at £60, I figured it was gonna be an investment, considering it would spruce up any outfit. The clutch is £15 from ASOS. The scarf is from Spitafields Market. I love the pop out flowers on it and adore the mixture of colours turqoise and beige/gold in it. The belt and necklase both from ASOS. The shoes are from New Look, I also have them in a very vibrant red you'll see in the next picture below
Give me colour! So I went a little overboard with the red and pink! It's all about having fun with it. I reckon I kicked ass with clashin it up! The dress is like £10 from Primark! I love the colours and it really doesn't look like it's from Primark. The clutch is £18 from ASOS. The cardigan is also Primark, as is the giant pearl necklase and earrings. The whole outfit was probably under £30
I leave you with this this last but not least image of me taken at my best friends house. The wedges are the lastest from New Look and come in lots of other fun colours too. I love that the two colours go so well with my outfit. I think tuqoise and cobolt blue go so well together. I have to be honest they are rather high even for me and I wear heels all the time. I'm kind of scared I might break my ankles in them as it's raining too. The snake print turqoise jeans are from Primark again £10. The top is the same top as the second image in this post but in light mint green and again only £10 and also has the beige bow details on the cuffs. The clutch it from ASOS £18. The necklase from Primark. The turqoise crystal earrings are a gift and from Swarovski.

As I hadn't blogged for a while I guess I owed you. So you have a good few outfits here.I hope we're even now. I know i promised that I would review the Halo extensions sent to me. I've not had a chance to review them yet. I will however review them in the next post and fill you in more regarding ASOS.

Anyway, gotta go see a man about a dog! Have yourselves a very good rest of the week. Not long until the weekend now! ;)

Until next time

XOXO

Look Who's Been Spotted!

Happy Saturday all!

I was going to leave posting on my blog for a little while, due to a change in my life, however this morning I've received and email from ASOS to appear in a feature and promote my blog. Apparently they've spotted me via Twitter.

A company called UnderCover Glamour has also sent me some hair extensions called Halo to review, which I will do so in the next feature.

So, today’s outfit is a bit a bit of an impulse purchase, certainly the top is. I purchased this months and months ago from Primark for a tenner and have avoided wearing it because it’s a short top. Granted it’s see-through, so ideally you’re probably supposed to wear something underneath it like a vest top.  Most definitely if you’re wearing it to work.  I’ve paired it with a white Primark vest top, which I purchased for £1.50.

I love these wet-look leggings I picked up from Bebe in New York last November, they always remind me of Halle Berry in Catwoman every time I wear them, especially when I pair them with a leather corset top on a night out. A sure way to add a bit of hotness to an outfit.  I’m not particularly a fan of Black and white; I always feel like it’s a little waitress like and a little dull.  So I always try and jazz it up by accessorising right and brighter make up.

The big pearl necklace is also a Primark purchase and so are the pearl earrings which come in a pack of about 5 pearl earrings in different sizes for £1.50. The matching pearl clustered ring is from Accessorize purchased about 2 years ago.

I thought about wearing big sexy black heels with this outfit, but thought perhaps not for work. The black buckle court shoes are from New Look at £20 and yes they are the same as the ones I wore yesterday in a different colour. They’re ever so comfortable, perfect for gallivanting around town at lunch time.

I’ve finished the outfit off with a £2.00 Channel style handbag I picked up in the sale again from Primark. And a leather bomber jacket, which was a birthday gift from my fashion designer friend at Lipsy.

I’m conscious I’ve included a lot of my purchases from Primark in my blogs. So I will consciously try and pick out an outfit and accessories that are not from Primark in the next feature.
Enjoy your weekend girls, I'm off to spend it with my best friend and plan our Vegas adventure.

Catch you all soon x

Aint No Sunshine When You're Gone...

I have had a fair few complaints from my friends and readers that I haven’t officially started my blog yet and to sort it out! So firstly I must apologise to you all. Unfortunately life got in the way. I’ve just recovered from laser eye surgery I had a few weeks ago, so I’ve been hibernating. But I am back! Today is the first day at work I have been able to wear make-up. Although I did get used to not wearing it for a while, I just didn’t feel quite myself. Today is the first time in weeks that I can say I feel 100 percent Sunny again.

A lot has happened since I started this blog. All good! So I’ve managed to book my Las Vegas holiday away, celebrating my best friends 30thin style towards the end of next month and I’ve also received a cheque from Inland Revenue for 2K. So I’m single, going to Vegas with pure ‘Paper!’ The world is my oyster it seems.

I’ve been shopping for Vegas this weekend. I went to Drake’s concert at the LG on Friday night and then ravin in Birmingham! The following day I shopped in the Bullring for Vegas and brought 2 cool very Essex style hats from Forever 21, and one from Monsoon. I also brought a very blinging Aqua coloured bikini from River Island. See picture below.

Today’s outfit is very nautical, I’m so into nautical stripes of late and they’re real big this spring and summer. The shirt is a real bargain at £10 from Primark; I just love it, because it really looks like it costs a lot more. The navy trousers are also a good purchase from Primark and again so many people have commented that it really doesn't look like a Primark purchase.

I picked up the matching nautical flat shoes this weekend from River Island for Vegas, anyone that knows me, knows I never wear flats. I thought I would invest in some as I plan on doing a whole lot of walking in Vegas and I’m not sure my feet can take heels all day and all night.

The jacket is from Celebrity Boutique and I’ve waited absolutely ages for it to come back into stock. I just adore the feminine tailoring, the slight shoulder pads accentuates the female form as it come in at the waist, very 40’s. The metallic spikes on the shoulders, bring it back to today’s trend.

I added a matching big chunky statement necklace from Accessorize and pear earrings from Primark for £2, that’s some serious bargain, because these earrings have lasted me months and months and still no discolouring or allergic reaction.

You will find that a lot of my outfits are in fact Primark; I think it’s about how you put the outfit together not where you purchase from. You can make a high street brand look designer, just by accessorising and putting it together with the right garments.

To finish today’s look this white and beige tassel clutch handbag is also a River Island purchase. I am really loving River Island lately, I just want to purchase everything. Especially the handbags they look designer, without the price tag.
I better get to work, so have yourselves a fab Monday Fashionistas! Catch you tomorrow. x

Lovin Your Style!

Hey, my name’s Sunny and welcome to Sunny_Style my first attempt at a fashion blog! I’ve always been a massive fan of fashion mainly inspired by my stylish fashionista friends. I’ve been asked by many of my friends and colleagues who are in awe of my never ending wardrobe to start my own fashion blog, so here I am!

Dress: Pussycat London, Necklase: Lipsy, Bag: River Island, Shoes: New Look

I have explained why my friends think I should start this blog; however, I've not mentioned why I have actually taken the plunge. I feel you can’t change your looks or shape, without cosmetic surgery but you can change your style! And you can dress to suit your shape!  Also it would be a great waste not to showcase some of my outfits plus, I need to sell much of my wardrobe as my room is overflowing with clothes, bags and shoes! Im getting too scared to open my wardrobe as it could actually kill me!

My friends would describe me as fun, wild, deep and creative. Some of my closest friends feel I remind them of Paris Hilton! Can you see it?

Dress: Forever 21 (San Francisco), Clutch: Bebe, Shoes: Jimmy Choo

Within this blog I will explore inspirations from the celebrity and fashion world, what’s hot and what’s not. As well as exploring the latest trends and how to rock them in everyday life! You can also shop my neverending wardrobe.

Wish me luck fashionistas!

Lovin your work!
